Why Och
A Sparkle, Carried Forward
In Mongolian, "Och" means "sparkle," the small, bright thing that lights what comes next. Och Wellness is a grandson's promise: to take what was kept quietly in one family for four centuries and offer it, with reverence, to the world.

A Legacy Across Continents

1970s — Mongolia
Early Life & Training in Mongolia
Tungalag trained as a physician at Mongolia's National Medical School, practicing neurology while quietly returning, again and again, to the older language of herbs she had grown up around, the traditional Mongolian and Tibetan formulas her family had kept for generations.

1980s — Mongolia
Traditional Practice & Teaching
Working with the Institute of Traditional Medicine, Tungalag became known across Mongolia as both a healer and a teacher preserving five-element formulas, training younger practitioners, and bridging the modern clinic with the herbalism of the steppe.

1990s–2000s — Poland
Poland Shop & Polish Health Conference
Tungalag opened an apothecary in Poland, introducing Mongolian and Tibetan herbal formulas to a new continent. Invited to speak at a Polish national health conference, she became one of the most recognized voices in Europe for traditional Eastern medicine a quiet ambassador for a 400-year-old practice.

2000s — Chicago
Bringing the Legacy to America
Tungalag then crossed another ocean and opened ONCH-USA in Chicago, serving families from every background with the same formulas her grandmother and great-grandmother had trusted; she adapted never compromised.

2010s — Chicago
Recognition & Impact in the USA
Over the years of working one-on-one with patients, Tungalag earned their trust and recognition from her peers, the kind of quiet authority that comes from results, not marketing.

Today — The Next Generation
Passing the Knowledge
At Tungalag's kitchen table, with herbs spread between them and her handwritten formula book open, she taught her grandson Brandon Och Garland the names, the meanings, the ratios and the responsibility of carrying it forward.
Honoring the Past, Shaping the Future

Today, this legacy rests with me. After four centuries of wisdom and formulas passed down through my family, I now carry the responsibility of bringing this ancient knowledge forward. I’m committed to building a different kind of wellness company, one grounded in integrity, accountability, and a genuine commitment to the people we serve. My goal is to help others reconnect with their highest selves, so they can be fully present for the relationships that matter most. "With great power, comes great responsibility."- Ben Parker
Honoring the past. Building what's next.
Every bottle is a small piece of that promise, formulas refined for four centuries, made for the way we live now.
